Share a Little Good
Tell us about something good that happened.
There is a lot of good happening in the world that we do not always get to hear about.
Sometimes it is something big. Sometimes it is a neighbour inviting someone for coffee, a stranger helping someone through a difficult day, or a group of people quietly making life better for their community.
We would love to hear those stories.
Not just what happened, but what came next. What it meant to someone. Whether it changed anything. And perhaps whether it inspired someone else to do something good.
That is what we are hoping to discover through Lens.
Why we are doing this
Good stories deserve our attention too.
We are not trying to pretend the world's problems do not exist. Lens will keep asking difficult questions and following the evidence.
We simply believe the good that people do deserves to be seen as well. We are especially curious about what happens after an act of kindness. A neighbour might become a friend. Help at the right moment might make another choice possible. A small community idea might be picked up somewhere else.
Sometimes the moment is the whole story. Sometimes it is the beginning of another one.
The Connection Atlas
One story may help another story grow.
Lens has something called the Connection Atlas. It is a place to explore stories and notice relationships that can be supported by the reporting.
We would love to use it to explore the ways kindness can connect people and communities. Someone might read about a local project, begin something similar where they live and inspire another person to join in.
If we can confirm that connection, and everyone involved is comfortable with it being shared, we may be able to show it. A resemblance alone is not enough to say one story caused another.

You do not need to write a polished story. Start with what happened. We will only ask for the details that fit what you want to share.
Your choice at every step
Sharing a story is not permission to publish it.
- A submission is reviewed privately. It is not published automatically.
- We will contact you only if you choose a contact option and agree that we may do so.
- We will ask separately before publishing an identifiable personal account or image.
- You can decline an interview or publication. You do not need to explain why.
- A nomination is not consent from the person being suggested.
- Submitting a story does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Stories involving children, health, medical experiences or people who may need extra support receive an extra care review before any follow up. Please do not include private details that Lens does not need.
